Murder victim found near school
POLICE were today still trying to identify a man found murdered near a school in Small Heath.
The victim, an Asian man, was found in a pool of blood in Oldknow Road, yards from Oldknow Junior School, at 1am yesterday. The school was closed yesterday.
A post mortem confirmed the man, who was found by a passer-by, died from head injuries.
