Double fire deaths 'not suspicious'
THE death of two elderly people following a fire at a bungalow in Wolverhampton is no longer being treated by police as suspicious.
The bodies of a man and a woman were found in bedrooms in the house in Mayfield Road, East Park.
About 20 firefighters were called to the scene and found that the blaze had engulfed the living room of the house.
Police said a post-mortem examination had revealed the pair died from smoke inhalation.
