Man killed by train
A MAN has been killed after being hit by a train at a Midland station.
Ambulance crews were called to Smethwick's Rolfe Street station at about 3.15 pm yesterday.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "The man was in his mid to late 30s and had suffered multiple injuries. Sadly there was nothing that could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
