Teenager killed as car leaves road

A TEENAGER has died and another is in a critical condition after their car came off a busy road and crashed down an embankment near Worcester.

The vehicle, carrying four teenagers aged 16 and 17, was on the A4103 in Bransford.

A 17-year-old boy suffered multiple injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to the Royal Worcester Hospital with serious head injuries but was later transferred to the intensive care unit at the North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary in Stoke-on-Trent.

He remains in a critical condition.

Two 16-year-old girls were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

It is believed all four teenagers are from the Hereford area.
