Murder case is adjourned

THE case of a Walsall father-of-one accused of killing his wife has been adjourned at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Kafil Ahmed, aged 31, of Simmonds Place, Darlaston, was further remanded in custody by Mr Justice Griffith-Williams.

Ahmed, who worked in the restaurant trade, is charged with murdering 21-year-old Laily Begum whose body has never been found.
