Man dies after collision with tree
A MAN has died after his car collided with a tree in Shirley, near Solihull.
The driver of the car, a man in his 30s, was taken to Heartlands Hospital following the crash on Streetsbrook Road, but died later.
A spokesman for West Midlands ambulance service said the car suffered massive damage, and despite their best efforts medics were unable to save the man.
