Police probe Hartson row
POLICE are investigating claims that West Bromwich Albion footballer John Hartson failed to pay a taxi fare.
Officers are looking at allegations that the 31-year-old did not pay a cabbie who picked him up from Ashby de la Zouch, in Leicestershire, and took him to his home in Solihull.
A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said they had received a complaint after an alleged incident between midnight and 1.30am on Sunday.
