Fears for safety of missing OAP

POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a 76-year-old Alzheimer's Disease sufferer who has gone missing from his Birmingham home.

Sydney Palmer was last seen out on a shopping trip in Northfield on Tuesday.

The pensioner called his wife to say he was on his way to his daughter's home in West Heath but never arrived.

Police said he is considered vulnerable as he suffers from Alzheimer's.

He is described as 6ft tall, of a thin build and has short wavy grey hair, clean shaven with blue eyes. The top of his left index finger is missing.
