Murder victim Diane Ingram.

POLICE investigating the murder of a 61-year-old Midland woman have released a picture of her for the first time, two weeks after her death.

Staffordshire Police also revealed they would be speaking to bus users today in a bid to trace Diane Ingram's estranged husband.

Diane was found dead in her ground-floor flat in Avon Road, Cannock, at 5.10pm on March 13. She died from a single stab wound to her neck.

Her estranged husband Harold James Ingram, known as Jim, was last seen on a bus in Walsall Road, Cannock, at 3.20pm on that afternoon. The bus is believed to have been the 870, travelling towards Wolverhampton.

Det Insp Ronnie Walker said: "Our enquiries are ongoing. It remains of key importance that Mr Ingram is traced."
