Police quiz man over woman's death

A MAN was today being quizzed by detectives today after a woman was found dead at a house in the Midlands.
Police discovered the woman's body when they were called to a house in Armitage Road, Rugeley, at about 3.30am.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He remained in custody today.
The road was cordoned off by police as scenes of crime officers carried out a search for clues.
The woman was believed to be in her 20s. Her next of kin have been informed.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "The road was due to remain closed for the majority of the day while police investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
"Detectives were also conducting house-to-house inquiries."
