Easter weather is looking good

WARM weather is on the way for Britain over Easter, forecasters have predicted.

But the millions jetting abroad could face cold and rain before temperatures start hotting up in continental Europe.

However, much of Europe should be fine over the holiday period, keeping those who have ventured overseas as well as those staying at home happy, MeteoGroup weather forecasters said.

A spokesman added: "It's looking pretty good for the UK over Easter. After some cloudier and cooler weather over Tuesday and Wednesday, high pressure will dominate.

"We can expect some dry and settled weather, with temperatures as high as 16C (61F) in southern England on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. Parts of Scotland could be a bit cloudy and breezy but for most of the country there will be only light winds and it will be very pleasant."
