Man's death is murder - police

A MURDER inquiry was launched today after police revealed a man found dead at a flat in West Bromwich had been stabbed to death.
Police and paramedics were called to the property in Witton Lane, Hill Top, at 5pm on Wednesday.
A post mortem examination was carried out last night on the victim, a man in his 20s.
Today Det Chief Insp Danny Long, of Sandwell North CID at West Bromwich, today confirmed that a murder inquiry was underway.
"We have recovered a knife from the scene and our inquiries are continuing," he said.
"Two people are helping us with our inquiries. We hope to be able to release more details later."
Residents living nearby said a foreign man and his girlfriend lived in the flat.
