Fans make tracks for NEC show

MIDLAND cyclists will be making tracks to the NEC for the National Bike Show this weekend.

The show, which runs tomorrow and Sunday promises to showcase the best and latest on two wheels.

Families can enjoy a fun-filled day out watching top action from international top riders, viewing the latest bikes and components.

There will also be lots of competitions for bike enthusiasts at every level.

Show organisers are particularly eager this year to promote the health and environmental benefits of ditching the car and getting on your bike.

A spokesman from the National Bike Show said: "With the current increase in public awareness regarding environmental and health issues, such as carbon emissions and child obesity, the time is right for all of us to get on our bikes."

Advance tickets are £18 for adults, £15.50 for children and £59.50 for a family of four (two adults and two children) plus fees. Call 0870 909 4133 or visit www.necgroup.co.uk
