Ocean Colour Scene perform at HMV.

BIRMINGHAM band Ocean Colour Scene gave fans a treat with a live performance at a city centre store.

The group, who hail from Moseley, impressed shoppers at HMV in the High Street yesterday.

Their appearance marked the release of the band's album, On The Leyline, launched through their own Moseley Shoals Records label. It was produced by John Rivers whose past credits include The Specials' classic Ghost Town.

The album includes Paul Weller's For Dancers Only.
