Which DJ will be seeing stars?

BRMB's Eliot Webb, left, squares up to Kerrang's Ugly Phil.

IT'S been dubbed The Battle Of The Breakfast Hosts.

In the red corner, all the way from Down Under, is Kerrang Radio's Ugly Phil.

And in the blue corner, the man said to have the sexiest voice in Birmingham, BRMB's Eliot Webb.

The radio rivals will go toe-to-toe next month during a charity boxing match to find the 'Ali of the Airwaves'. The unlikely face-off came after both DJs began training with Executive Boxing, a white-collar boxing gym.

After spending a month being put through their paces the pair will battle it out in the ring in front of a live audience.

The charity bout will raise cash for Help a Local Child and Birmingham Dogs Home.

In spite of his early morning antics, Aussie DJ Ugly Phil, aka Philip Surridge, 37, is a keep-fit fanatic who regularly brandishes his biceps to female pop stars.

However, smooth-talking Eliot, from Worcester, recently admitted the only exercise he gets is playing Track and Field on the Playstation.

Andy Price, brand manager at Kerrang, said: "Phil works out and likes to keep himself quite fit and he was approached by Executive Boxing to train with them."

"Unbeknown to us they approached Eliot Webb as well and they came up with the idea of staging a fight for charity.

"It's all a bit of fun but it's always good to have a pop at your rivals.

"It's a very different challenge for both of them but they are both quite competitive people so they will both want to win."
