Woman killed in car smash
A 20-YEAR-OLD woman has been killed and a man airlifted to hospital after their car collided with another vehicle in Warwickshire.
The woman, from Redditch, was a passenger in a Peugeot 306 which collided with a Ford Focus on the B4086 near the village of Wellesbourne, police said.
A police spokesman said the driver of the Peugeot had suffered a broken leg while the driver of the Ford, a 62-year-old man from Stourport, suffered whiplash.
The identity of the woman who died has not been revealed by officers.
