Lara's porn film shock

Lara Coton

A MIDLAND teenager is taking legal action against a film company after it used a photo of her on the cover of a porn movie.

Budding photographer Lara Coton took the self-portrait on a family holiday three years ago and later submitted to it an international online art website.

But Lara has discovered the innocent snap has been lifted from the internet and is being used on the cover of an X-rated movie.

Lara and her family, from Tamworth, Staffordshire, have launched legal action in a bid to withdraw the DVD, titled Body Magic, and sue for damages.

The angry 17-year-old said: "I'm disgusted an innocent picture of me at the age of 14 has found its way onto the cover of this film.

The image of Lara Coton used as the cover for an American pornographic DVD.

"I would never have authorised the use for a porn film."

In an e-mail to Lara, TVX Films promised to remove the image.

They wrote: "All of our artwork is out-sourced to another company.

"To date there have only been a couple of hundred DVDs sold throughout the world, so the picture is of little importance. But we'll be glad to have them change the art."
