Kittens crying out for homes

The abandoned kittens at Barnes Hill.

THEY are cute and cuddly and need to find new homes, with loving, responsible owners.

These four kittens are seven week old strays. They were picked up by an RSPCA inspector and taken to the charity's rescue centre in Barnes Hill.

Now staff at the centre are hoping to find families to take in the kittens and many other cats the shelter.

Manager Jackie Lines said the stray cat situation in Birmingham was reaching breaking point with 94 cats currently in their care.

She said: "These kittens are absolutely gorgeous and we need people who can give them a home. We have so many kittens here and many more cats of a mixture of ages who all need homes."

Anyone who wants to give these kittens or any of the cats a home can call 0870 753 8675. The centre is open 11am-3.30pm every day except Tuesday.
