Butchers threatened by armed raiders

BUTCHERS shop staff were threatened by two men with a gun during a raid on a store in Dudley.

The men, both white, burst into the Bismillan Meat Centre in High Street at 4pm on Tuesday. They strode up to the counter and threatened staff with a gun before fleeing with cash from the till.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.

A police spokesman said today: "The offenders were seen running in the direction of Greystone Passage."
