Hero soldier decorated for bravery
A WEST Midlands soldier has been awarded the Military Cross for his outstanding service during a battle in Afghanistan.
Lance Bombadier Richard Jennings of the Royal Artillery was given the honour after taking part in a dangerous operation while serving with 148 Commando in Afghanistan.
