Floods hit mela and fun day

BIRMINGHAM'S Eid Mela, due to be held on Sunday has been postponed due to the heavy rain and concerns over the condition of Cannon Hill Park.

The Mela will take now take place on Sunday, August 19. For more information visit www.birminghameidmela.co.uk.

A fun day that was due to be held today in Holland Park, Brownhills, Walsall, has also been cancelled due to flooding.
