Appeal for witnesses to accident
POLICE appealed for witnesses after a road accident left a teenager badly hurt.
The 16-year-old, from Wolverhampton, was injured when a Vauxhall Astra in which he was a passenger collided with a Volkswagen Golf.
The accident happened on the A449 Stafford Road, Wolverhampton, at 9.10pm last Thursday. The Astra was crossing the dual carriageway when it collided with the Golf, which was heading towards the M54.
The teenager was taken in hospital and was in a serious but stable condition.
