Asim, Hamza and Salma Rauf - an apology
IN THREE articles following the alleged airline terror plot last year (11,12 and 21 August 2006) and on http://icbirmingham.icnetwork.co.uk, we suggested that Asim (also known as Maroof), Hamza and Salma Rauf had been arrested or questioned by the police.
We wish to make it clear that this suggestion was false.
They assure us, and we fully accept, that they have never been complicit in any terrorist activity.
We apologise to Asim, Hamza and Salma Rauf for any distress or embarrassment caused.
