Bike boy attacked by yobs

AN 11-year-old schoolboy was kicked in the groin by thugs in an attempt to steal his bicycle.

Staffordshire Police are now appealing for help to trace the callous gang which targeted the boy as he rode his bike past the Spar Shop in Ellerbeck, Tamworth.

Officers are also urging a man to come forward to help track down the offenders after he witnessed the attack, confronted the gang and retrieved the boy's bike.

The boy suffered discomfort to his groin following the attack.

The incident happened at 11.40am on July 14 but details have only just been released by Tamworth Police.
