Soccer legend in Bullring beach kicks

Steve Bull and Heart FM DJ Steve Dewyer at the Bullring Beach football event.

FOOTBALL legend Steve Bull kicked, flicked and tricked his way around the city's Bullring with a bunch of budding Beckhams.

Bully kicked off a beach-based soccer session at the centre's summer beach who kicked out deck chairs for the day in favour of inflatable goals and balls.

The local legend joined the Goals Soccer Centre in an interactive coaching session on the sand, which culminated in a mini-tournament.

Louise Hamer-Brown, from the Bullring, said: "This is a great way for us to continue the summer of activities and provide an afternoon of fun for children visiting the centre.

"It was an honour to have a soccer star like Steve Bull coming to the event."

Bully, the greatest scorer in Wolves history, smashed no less than four of the club's records alongside playing for England and earning an MBE for services to Association Football.

The Beach is in St Martin's Square, between the Selfridges building and St Martin's Church.
