Missing tot back home

A TWO-year-old boy who sparked a police search after he went missing is now back with his family.

David Butler, from Glascote, in Tamworth, had been playing in the front garden of a house in Maitland Road, at 4pm on Sunday. The toddler was said to have wandered through the front gate and was not seen after that point.

But Staffordshire Police called off the search by 6pm on Sunday after David was said to be 'safe and well' and back with his family.

A spokesman said: "David Butler has turned up safe and well and he is back with his family."
