Bosses are in the pink for charity

FUN-LOVING Black Country businessmen swapped their suits and ties for pink bras to launch a fund raising campaign with a serious aim.

The group of 20 all belong to Wolver-hampton Round Table which hopes to raise £10,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Money-spinning events lined up include a special auction, a high-profile summer ball and the chance to win a £23,000 car on the roll of a dice.

The ball, sponsored by local house builder Bentley Homes, will take place on Saturday at Patshull Park Hotel near Wolverhampton with 200 guests already confirmed.

Round Table chairman, Daryl Seive-wright, said: "We are delighted to be throwing our support behind such a worthwhile cause and, with the help of local people and companies, we genuinely believe we can surpass the target set.

"There will be lots of highlights during the ball, which will feature a champagne reception, a three course meal and leading band the 'Funkadelics'.

"The car give away is the first time anything like this has ever been done, with Benham BMW generously agreeing to provide a 1 Series for any guest who can get all sixes from rolling seven dice."
