Gabby dances into the stores

STRICTLY Come Dancing hopeful Gabby Logan swapped her tap shoes for designer ones as she launched a new fashion collection in Birmingham.

The BBC television sports presenter took time off from practising for the dance competition which launches next month to front the 'Selected by Gabby Logan' collection for fashion house Betty Barclay.

The 34-year-old will be taking part in the popular knock-out competition against her husband of six years, 35-year-old rugby player Kenny Logan.

But the mum of twins Reuben and Lois denies she and Kenny are battling for top spot. "We won't be competing against each other to begin with," Gabby said.

"In fact I am not having to do a singles dance at all in the first week so I don't have to worry about being knocked out. But when we get down to the final few it will be survival of the fittest."

A former gymnast, Gabby knows all about competing - and about the amount of work it takes to succeed.

"When I am at a party and the music comes on I like to dance but this is something completely different," she said.
