Shane death: Third man charged

Shane Owoo

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with killing a teenage boy who drowned in a pool near his West Midlands home.

Marvin James Anthony Walker was remanded in custody at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court accused of the manslaughter of Shane Owoo.

Two other men appeared in court earlier this month accused of killing 16-year-old Shane, whose body was recovered from Lunt Pool in Bilston, on September 30.

Walker, of no fixed abode, was ordered to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court in January.

The other two men charged with Shane's manslaughter were both remanded in custody last week and will also appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next year.

There was no application for bail during the hearing, at which Walker spoke only to confirm his personal details.
