Man is killed by train

A MAN has died after being hit by a train in Birmingham.
Police and paramedics were called to Adderley Park Railway Station, off Bordesley Green Road, Saltley, following the incident at 7.10pm yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said a doctor was also despatched to the incident and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
British Transport Police are investigating the incident.
