X Factor Niki is too good for Simon Cowell, says family

THE family of X Factor hopeful Niki Evans have said she will bounce back after last week's savaging at the hands of TV Mr Nasty Simon Cowell.

The 34-year-old mother of two from Polesworth faced criticism from the judges for her jazz performance on Saturday's show.

So, to try and spur her on tonight, six members of her family have had a picture of Niki printed onto their rear windows along with the slogan Vote for Niki.

Husband Darren, aged 39, who owns his own printing business, Printland in Sheldon, carried out the work.

He said: "It looks really great and you get alot of attention driving around with the picture in the back window.

"Alot of people toot their horns and you get alot of people waving at you which is great because there's alot riding on each Saturday night and it's all about drumming up support."

Darren, who will be in the audience tonight, said it was hard to see his wife taking harsh critiscism from judges on last week's show.

"She is enjoying it and she hasn't got a bad word to say about the judges but it's hard to take when you sit there and hear her getting a slating off Simon Cowell."

Nicky's mum, Annette Rolph, said: "She's going to come back fighting. She's picked herself up after last week and now she wants to win it for Birmingham and for herself. She's come too far now and she's too strong to be having doubts about herself at this stage."
