Body found in River Severn is missing Worcestershire man

A BODY found in the River Severn was that of a 62-year-old local man who had been missing for more than a week.

Reginald Southall, of Redstone Lane, Stourport, had not been seen since December 4, when he was reported missing by his wife after failing to return home from a walk.

Fishermen discovered his body, near the Angel Inn, Severnside, Stourport. The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses who may have seen Mr Southall since he went missing. He was wearing black jogging bottoms, black shoes and a dark blue jacket with a body warmer over the top.
