Fears grow for missing teenager
POLICE are growing concerned for a Midland teenager who has been missing for nearly three weeks.
Tom Atkinson, aged 15, was last seen at his home in Tamworth on December 12.
Staffordshire Police think Tom may be in the north of the county where he has some friends, but are anxious to hear from anyone with information on his whereabouts.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare due to Tom's prolonged absence."
Tom, who is described as 5ft 8in with shaved blond hair, blue eyes and of medium build, was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms, an anorak and black trainers.
