Appeal after guinea pig is stolen

THIEVES climbed into the garden of a Midlands house and stole a guinea pig from its hutch.

Its owners are said to be devastated because the guinea pig calle dSheep - so named because she is white and fluffy - was a much-loved family pet.

She was stolen from her hutch in the garden of a house in Merlin Drive, Kidderminster, over the weekend.

The offenders climbed a 6ft fence and took Sheep, but left behind another guinea pig, Fudge, because she was timid and was hiding.

Sheep had a fluffy ridge along her back and a dark patch over one eye. She has blue eyes and is four years old. She went missing between Saturday and Sunday evening.

Her owners are offering a reward for information leading to her safe return.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Kidderminster Police on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
