Gun police raid house

ARMED police swooped at a house today in a dawn raid.

Officers, with their faces masked, stormed the house in Barrows Lane, Sheldon, at around 7am.

Four unmarked police Range Rovers and a Land Rover with blacked out windows were used in the operation in a quiet suburban street.

The next-door neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: "I didn't realise what was happening this morning.

"I heard shouting coming from the house but I thought they might just be having an argument. I don't know much about it but I know that they have young children living there."
