Call to shooting witnesses
POLICE are still looking for witnesses after a man was shot in the leg in Smethwick.
The 30-year-old man was shot after two men called at his house in Shenstone Road just before 7.20pm on Monday.
Police have described the first offender as a man, believed to be tanned or Asian in appearance, in his mid 30s, of thin build with short, black, slightly curly hair, about 5ft 11ins and clean shaven.
He was wearing a black hooded coat and jeans.
The second man is believed to be Asian, of a paler complexion, around 5ft 7ins, of medium build, in his 30s and clean shaven.
He was wearing a brown baseball cap with hair visible underneath, a dark zipped jacket and dark blue jeans.
The victim, who has not been named, is stable in hospital.
