Four charged with murder

FOUR people have been charged with the murder of a man found dead in an old building in Birmingham city centre.

West Midlands Police said the four men, aged 27, 39, 40 and 52, were appearing before city magistrates today accused of the killing.

The body of the man was found at about 1.15pm on Sunday, January 13 in the building at the junction of Essex Street and Bristol Street.

A post-mortem revealed the man, believed to be in his 30s, had died of head injuries. He has not yet been named. A 38-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident remains on bail.
