Matt's a seafood sensation
A SEAFOOD chef is to treat his customers to a one-off menu after his pub was crowned seafood venue of the year.
Matt Gardner, who runs Kidderminster pub the Mare & Colt with his girlfriend Jess Harris, defeated 140 rivals from across the country to win the Chef & Brewer award for 2007.
And now he is repaying his customers for their loyalty with a series of top-notch dishes.
The former Halesowen College student saw sales rise by almost a fifth during Seafood Week in October when nearly 1,000 diners visited.
