We will provide your dream home - boss

A NEW Worcestershire housing chief today promised to provide high quality affordable homes to people trying to get on the housing ladder.

Denise Shuker, who has worked in the housing sector for more than 30 years, will now be responsible for three housing groups for the West Mercia Housing Group.

Mrs Shuker, said: "West Mercia Housing Group is at an important stage in its growth and I am relishing the challenges ahead.

"As housing director of the individual housing associations that make up the group, I will ensure that our customers continue to receive a high-quality, personal service to address their housing needs.

"I want to make sure our service standards respond to changing times and aspirations.

"Creating new affordable homes that people want to live in is also important."
