Two arrested for walking along M-way in Great Barr
TWO men were arrested today after being spotted strolling along a Midland motorway next to rush-hour traffic.
Police were forced to slow traffic as the pair wandered along the slip road where the M5 and M6 motorways join in Great Barr.
Hundreds of fuming commuters who were heading to work were delayed as police dealt with the pair at 7.20am.
A police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene following reports that two people were walking along the motorway slip road. Two men were arrested and are in custody."
