City man on terror charges

A MAN has appeared at Birmingham Crown court and admitted terrorism-related charges.

Pa Jobe, pleaded guilty via a video-link to three charges of possessing a document or recording likely to be useful to a person preparing an act of terrorism.

The charges relate to files found on an iPod with titles including How Can I Train Myself For Jihad and Al-Qaeda Training Manual.

Jobe, 27, of Witton Road, Aston also admitted one charge of possessing a mobile phone recording of the exterior of West Midlands Police headquarters on December 15, 2006.

Sentence was adjourned until later this month by Mr Justice Butterfield, who remanded Jobe in custody.
