Teenager attacked by pervert

A SEX attacker who pounced on a terrified teenage girl in the Black Country was being hunted by police today.

The girl, aged 19, was walking home in the early hours of Saturday when the sex fiend grabbed her. Detectives today made an urgent appeal for information to catch the attacker before he got the chance to strike again.

The teenager was walking along Brunswick Park Road in Wednesbury when she was subjected to the sexual assault.

Det Con Pam Sondhi, of West Bromwich CID, said the attack was carried out between 1.30am and 2am and left the victim badly shaken.

"We are appealing for information to catch this man before he gets the chance to target any more women.

"The girl was subjected to a serious sexual assault and we need help to identify her attacker," she added.

Det Con Sondhi said that the attacker was dark-skinned, about 5ft 10ins, and was wearing a black jacket.

She said that the man was seen in Foley Street, Wednesbury, shortly before the attack.
