Three walk free in money laundering case

TWO men and a woman accused of money laundering have walked free from a court in Birmingham.

It had been alleged that Kamaljit Kaur, 39, Gurmit Kooner, 38, both of Woodruff Way, and Harpreet Kooner, 26, of Santolina Drive, Tame Bridge, all from Walsall, had received over 350,000 dirty money.

But following legal submissions, Mr Recorder Rowland, sitting at Birmingham Crown Court, ruled that they had no case to answer.

All denied a charge of concealing criminal property.
