Children hurt in M5 crash

TWO children were injured after a car crashed into the barrier on the hard shoulder of the M5.

It happened just before noon on Saturday when the car was heading northbound between junctions 2 and 3.

Fire crews from Northfield, Cradley Heath and Oldbury made the scene safe while paramedics treated the children for their injuries.
