Woman flees from flat fire
A WOMAN fled her burning flat after her bed caught fire while she was smoking.
Fire crews were called to Simmons Drive in Woodgate Valley at 10.40pm yesterday.
The woman, in her 30s, had managed to get out of the ground floor flat before firefighters arrived to put out the blaze.
She was not injured.
