School targeted in vandal attacks

VANDALS have been targeting a Midland school with break-ins and arson attacks.

Police revealed that Arrow Vale High School, in Redditch, had been targeted in a series of attacks in the past month with two wheelie bins set on fire during Monday night.

PC Paul Downes, of Redditch Police, appealed for witnesses and said the offenders would have entered the compound from the side nearest to the Arrow Vale Leisure Centre.

He said police were treating the fires as arson.
