Teenager shot in the leg
A TEENAGER was shot in the leg during a party in Birmingham, it emerged today.
The 16-year-old was blasted in the leg while celebrating in the Utteh Club, in Soho Road, in Handsworth, in the early hours of Sunday.
Police were called to the scene around 3.45am.
The victim was taken to hospital to be treated, he remains in a stable condition. His injury is not believed to be life threatening.
No-one else was injured.
Inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident and forensic enquiries are ongoing at the scene.
Detectives on the Major Investigation Unit have been handed the case.
