Crack dealer is locked up for two years

A MAN who started selling crack cocaine to ease his financial problems has been jailed for two years.

Leslie Taylor was seen in the early hours by patrolling police officers in the Tipton area, said Edward Moss, prosecuting.

He told Wolverhampton Crown Court the 37 year-old was found to have a small amount of cannabis in his possession.

But when officers looked into his car, they found 13 wraps containing cocaine together with £310 and two mobile telephones.

Taylor, of Stowheath Lane, Wolverhampton, admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply and also possessing cannabis.

Dean Kershaw, defending, said: "He got into financial difficulties and he saw this as a way to make money."
