College boss will be 'deeply missed'

A COLLEGE boss has paid tribute to a colleague who died in a head-on crash in the Midlands.

Stourbridge College Principal, Lynette Cutting, described Heather Linley as inspirational and full of "commitment and enthusiasm".

Miss Linley, from Redditch died at the scene of last Thursday's collision, on the A491.

The 48-year-old's blue Volkswagen Golf was heading towards Bromsgrove when she lost control.

The vehicle crossed over the central reservation and was in collision with a white Ford Mondeo travelling in the opposite direction.

Miss Linley was a senior member of staff at the college and in 2005 was promoted to director of curriculum and quality.

Mrs Cutting said: "Those who knew and worked with Heather could not fail to be impressed with the level of professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm she brought to any task she undertook.

"She was a lively and animated speaker who inspired the very best in others. Heather will be deeply missed."
