Fans flock to Meccano exhibition

FANS of Meccano flocked to a Midland exhibition featuring models of locomotives, planes and ships.

The event in Ironbridge also showed off a model version of the town’s world famous landmark.

Smaller visitors were able to build their own models from plastic Meccano while older children used more traditional metal pieces.

The Meccanuity exhibition, organised by the Telford and Ironbridge Meccano Society, is in the former engine shop of the Coalbrookdale ironworks was staged over the bank holiday weekend.
